Internships
  Pramerica offers temporary placement opportunities to undergraduates, who hope to fulfill a future career in technology. We look for bright enthusiastic individuals who want to apply their academic knowledge and enthusiasm for learning in a dynamic fast moving business environment.
  This is an opportunity to develop your business skills in a leading financial services organisation, while gaining exposure to up-to-the minute technologies.
  We work closely with a number of leading educational institutions in the locality and throughout Ireland and the EU. In 2008 Pramerica hosted a number of students on campus undergoing 6-9 months placements.
  Undergraduates should contact their local college/university careers office to explore future opportunities.
Graduates
  We are always interested in maintaining a database of IT graduates. We look for bright enthusiastic individuals who want to apply their knowledge and enthusiasm for learning in a dynamic environment. We recruit a high volume of graduates into entry level positions each year. Graduates joining Pramerica receive a formal individual development plan as part of the annual review process to help achieve their career development goals.
Graduate Traineeship
  Pramerica operates a successful graduate traineeship programme on an annual basis. Many graduates have developed within the company following the programme. The training plan covers, mainframe, client server and web-based technology. We look for high calibre IT graduates to join the programme each year.

ICT Ireland Graduate Placement Programme
  Pramerica is participating in the 2008 ICT Graduate Placement Programme. The aim of the programme is to provide successful candidates with a valuable introduction into the world of employment in the Information, Communication and Technology (ICT) sector. It has been established by ICT Ireland, the representative body for the ICT sector in Ireland in association with the Institution of Engineers.
  The programme offers graduates a unique opportunity to develop their skills in a real work environment while at the same time demonstrating the ICT industry's belief in long-term health of the sector.

Local Training Initiatives
  Pramerica is committed to working in partnership with local organisations to maximise learning opportunities for existing employees and to develop the relevant skills set for future employees.
LYIT Higher Diploma
  The Letterkenny Institute of Technology has developed a postgraduate programme in conjunction with Pramerica and Allstate Northern Ireland. The course was designed to ensure technology students are trained in the skill sets required by Pramerica and other employers in our industry. FAS Certified Computing Course
  For recent graduates who want the opportunity to stay in/move to the Northwest and increase their potential to work in IT, we recommend you apply for the FAS Certified Computing Course. This course was developed by FAS in conjunction with Pramerica Systems Ireland Ltd and provides each student with the skills to pursue a challenging and rewarding career with formal certification. Students develop the skill set that match the requirements of many information technology financial services organisations.
  In 2008-2009 the course will be broken into two phases:
  1. Programming and Testing Applications (23 weeks)
  2. Internship with Pramerica Systems Ireland Ltd (4 weeks)
  This intensive programme is delivered on an ongoing basis at the FAS training centre in Letterkenny.

FAS IT Access Support Course
  FAS is offering an 18 week programme in IT Access Support. The course is designed for those who have a strong aptitude for computing. The aim of the course is to prepare students for potential opportunities in IT access support.
  This extensive training course is FETAC certified and coved the following modules:
  1. IT principles & security
  2. Network fundamentals
  3. Windows server 2003
  4. Customer Care
