I started with Pramerica in April 2005. I was hired into the Contact Centre and began working on the technical helpdesk, where I resolved a large range of password reset and remote access issues for other people who work for the company, most of them in the US. I love talking to people from all over the world and explaining technical issues and solutions. There is an undeniable feeling of satisfaction that is derived from helping and resolving a large variety of issues quickly and professionally and receiving the grateful appreciation of those you assist. In July 2007, I moved into another department. This is a small team in Operations that creates or edits reports regarding user access to different systems and applications. These are then sent out to the different business units for review. I then log the responses and send security requests as appropriate. The work is fast paced but interesting and allows me to apply the skill set I brought to the job from my previous career as a secretary/administrator.
