I joined Pramerica in 2005 as Systems Tester. Three years hence, I am now a Team Lead for one of the IT teams. Each day is different from the previous one: new challenges, new issues to resolve and new targets to achieve. It seems daunting at first, but with the constant support I have from both my team members, my management and the support groups around me, I know I’m not alone.

My work involves working closely with my team making sure that they have everything they need to get their tasks done. This would involve task or resource allocation, resolving infrastructure issues, managing customer expectations and defining team performance objectives. The role also includes budgeting, forecasting and ensuring that there’s sufficient work in the pipeline for the months ahead. In addition to catering to the needs of my own team, I also work closely with other team leads and management on the some the larger objectives of the Company intended at upholding Pramerica’s mission.
